This weekend’s trifecta challenge is to write a story entitled ‘Lost’ in exactly 33 words. The word ‘lost’ can only appear in the title, not in your 33 words. For more details see the trifecta writing challenge at www.trifectawritingchallenge.com

My response:
'Lost'
Her voice echoes around him, resonating from every direction.
Impossible to pinpoint the source he cries out to her.
His scared voice trembles.
She can’t hear him!
Where is she?!
Where is he?!

I'm glad you were able to get this linked up.
ReplyDeletethis sounds very dream-like. Good take on the prompt.
Reminds me of when I lost my son at the aquarium a few weeks ago. Scared the bejeezus out of me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Trifecta this weekend. This would've been a great response to our earlier prompt, which called for the justified use of an exclamation. But it works great here, too. Has a touch of terror to it, for sure. Hope to see you back again soon.
ReplyDeleteAlso, just wanted to let you know that some of the Trifecta writers have decided that they can't comment on blogs that have word verification enabled. I'm not suggesting you change your blog settings, but if you are looking for more comments from our community, turning it off will definitely help.
Thanks again for linking up.
